Vicki Cunningham is the owner/manager of Cunningham Fine Jewelry, a privately held retail jewelry store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cunningham Fine Jewelry has evolved from a wholesale diamond exchange founded by Vicki’s husband, Howard Cunningham, to its position today as a successful retail establishment catering to the fine jewelry needs of the community. From diamond engagement rings to exclusive lines of jewelry and jewelry repair, Cunningham Fine Jewelry has grown under the trained and experienced eye of Ms. Cunningham.
A true reflection of the hard work and business ethic of mid-western America, Vicki has taken her training in retail fashion and turned it into a passion for the jewelry business. She began her career as one of the youngest buyers for Vandevers, part of a chain of department stores based in Ft.Worth, TX. Vicki’s entrepreneurial spirit took hold when she purchased a small retail women’s ready-to-wear store. Vicki ran her namesake, Victoria’s, for five years during which time she came to be known in the community for her participation in many philanthropic and business-related organizations.
Vicki brings this same energy and interest to the jewelry industry where she is one of America’s acknowledged leaders. She has served for 18 years as a board member of the Oklahoma Jewelers Association and was its President from 2000-2001. Ms. Cunningham formerly served on the executive board of the four-state Jewelers Executive Conference and is currently co-chairman of the 2008 leadership conference. In 2006 Vicki was named Southwest Star of Oklahoma, an award acknowledging her outstanding contribution to the jewelry industry and charitable service to the community. Vicki has been a regional director of Jewelers of America since 2002 and served on its executive board in 2005.
Vicki is a Senior Certified Management Professional with the Jewelers of America; holds a Guild Gemologist Certification from the Diamond Council of America; is a member of the Oklahoma Jewelers Associations, Jewelers of America, Jewelry Information Center, Jewelers Vigilance Committee, and the CRJP.
