Mitch has thirty years of retail experience. He had 10 years of extensive experience in various aspects of retail prior to joining Helzberg Diamonds. These include custom design, sales, merchandising and specialty jewelry and big box general management.
Mitch joined Helzberg Diamonds in 1989 in Store Operations. He has held many positions with Helzberg including Store and Regional Manager assignments in Dallas/Ft.Worth, Southern California and Dayton Ohio.
He was promoted to Divisional Vice President Eastern Division in 1997, Divisional Vice President Western Division in 2000.
In 2002 Mitch was promoted to Helzberg Diamonds’ Executive Board as Vice President of Store Operations. He was again promoted in 2005 to Sr. Vice president of Store Operations and assumed responsibility for the Training department in 2006.
As an executive board member he is involved in the development of corporate strategy, execution of marketing campaigns, store design and site selection.
