Lissa Maxwell
Director of Operations

Lissa Maxwell currently serves as the Director of Operations for the Diamond Council of America. She started with the DCA in March of 2001 as the Education Administrator. Lissa was instrumental in the growth of DCA and was named Director of Operations in February of 2005. Her duties include managing the day-to-day operations of the education department, which includes communicating regularly with members and students and supervising the education department employees. Lissa represents the DCA at several industry trade shows throughout the year.
Lissa graduated from Western Kentucky University in May of 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and a minor in marketing. After graduating Lissa spent several months in Denver, CO doing a marketing internship for CAMPUSPEAK, Inc.
Lissa is a graduate of the DCA’s Diamond and Colored Gemstone courses, completed the Distance Education and Training Council’s evaluator’s training course, and she completed the Nashville Young Leaders Council’s 10 week program which teaches young professionals how to better serve their community through service on a not-for-profit board.
She serves on the board of directors of the Green Hills YMCA, and she is very active in volunteering for the local Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Lissa’s personal time revolves around volunteering, exercising, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
